SFG 2, LAD 5 – Ohtani drives in 3, Dodgers beat Giants for 5th straight win; SF’s Fitzgerald extends HR streak to 5.
Shohei Ohtani contributed two hits and three RBIs, while rookie Landon Knack delivered a strong five-inning performance as the Los Angeles Dodgers extended their winning streak to five games with a 5-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night.
Tyler Fitzgerald made history as the first Giants rookie to hit home runs in five consecutive games, smashing a solo shot in the second inning. Fitzgerald finished with three hits and drove in both of the Giants’ runs.
Gavin Lux, who was named the NL Player of the Week on Monday, contributed a two-run double in the first inning. Since the All-Star break, Lux has been batting .438 with five RBIs, going 7 for 16.
Ohtani capped off his night against San Francisco starter Jordan Hicks (4-7) with a double off the right-field fence in the fourth inning, driving in Jason Heyward and Cavan Biggio to increase the Dodgers’ lead to 4-1. He also added an RBI single in the eighth inning.
Fitzgerald’s homer was the only blemish for Knack (2-2), who secured his first win since April 23. The right-hander allowed just one run on two hits, with six strikeouts and two walks.
LA Dodgers is currently 62-42-0, 1st place in NL West, with 99.7% to make postseason, 12.9% to win World Series.

フィッツジェラルドのホームランはナック（2-2）にとって唯一の失点で、ナックは4月23日以来の勝利を手にしました。右腕のナックは2安打で1失点し、6奪三振と2四球を記録しました。
LAドジャースは現在62勝42敗でNL西部首位、ポストシーズン進出確率99.7%、ワールドシリーズ制覇の確率は12.9%です。
