Free Agent Chad Green has joined the Toronto Blue Jays. Green was once drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2010 MLB Draft, but chose to go play college baseball with the University of Louisville. He was redrafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 2013 MLB draft, and eventually was flipped to the New York Yankees. It is Green’s first taste of Free Agency, and he has locked into a two year deal that guarantees him $8.5 million USD over two years. That said, there are a bunch of kickers in the deal that could extend the life of the contract and pay him more money over the course of the deal.
